Sylvie, a high schooler in our community, has taken the lead on a fundraising campaign for solar panels for Northeast UMC!
Following Sylvie’s lead, we’re raising $13,500–10% of the total project–by summer solstice, June 21. Achieving that goal would signal strong buy-in from the community for defending God’s Creation.
We already know what would happen if our society doesn’t switch to clean energy. Carbon-intensive energy creates extreme storms, displaces refugees, and raises energy bills. But with solar panels, Northeast moves toward carbon neutrality, with the panels generating over 100% of our current energy usage.
Thank you for prayerfully considering Northeast as you plan your year-end giving!
